I think his story reinforces for me the need to be productive, that is, happy with the output, rather than churning out work for the sake of it. I&#039;d rather be happy with the work than prolific...actually, I&#039;d prefer both lol. One day, maybe.</description>

What I love about his story is not that he took painstaking time but that he refused to send out work before it was ready.  I think that so many writers settle for &quot;good enough&quot;; I mean, Junot&#039;s novel DROWN would have been enough for people to shell out money for the second novel based on his name alone.  But he knew he wanted it to be better than good enough.

I respect the process as much as I respect the product.</description>
